Centre of Competence in Aerospace History

ALR has established since 1975 a unique Library and Data Base Documentation for civil and military aircraft, regularly used in ALR projects and studies as well as for publications

Main Activities

• Collection and registration of historical and actual data on military and civil aircraft, engines, engineering and technology, main emphasis since WWII
• Analysis and use of aircraft and engine characteristics and data for overall aircraft and system assessments
• Support with data of Aircraft evaluation and comparison for interested users
• Presentations and compilation of reports on historical aerospace developments
• Support of cooperation and networking with other historical aerospace centres
