Operation's and Management Support for a Fire Fighting Amphibium

Forest and Wild Fires - not least because of climate changes - have spread in many parts of the globe, destroying valuable resources, causing enormous CO2 emissions and threatening life and property.

Many of these fires are difficult to combat with land based fire fighting equipment, but propeller aircraft and helicopters utilized are woefully inadequate in water carrying capacity and dangerous to operate against large fires often spreading over an area of small provinces.

ALR has early recognized the enormous potential of the big Beriev-200 jet-powered multi-role amphibian and developed revolutionary fire fighting concepts for both national and international employment (with emphasis on cost control through geographic rotation to adjust to seasonal contingencies) as well as a concept for civil-military use.

Concepts have been presented by ALR at air shows, conferences of the UNFCCC as well as INSARAG Freiburg.
